Aewics Engineering Services Ltd., under the management and leadership of Engineer and Attorney Adi A. Atsits, serves as a representative of Moody S.A., a company within the international Moody Group operating in more than 50 countries worldwide in the fields of technical studies, inspection, and quality assurance.
In Israel, we represent Moody S.A. across a broad range of activities. Moody S.A. is a recognized independent European Notified Body 0656 accredited in accordance with the requirements of ISO/IEC 17020.
Below is a summary of the principal inspection activities (partial list) that we perform in Israel as the representative of the Notified Body and as an independent third-party inspection organization:
- Third-party inspection services in the field of welding in general, and specifically for natural gas transmission, distribution, and in-plant piping systems
- Third-party inspection services in the natural gas sector, including factory conversion projects in preparation for connection to natural gas pipeline systems
- Third-party inspection services for natural gas pipelines, including pressure testing
- Inspection and certification of pressure equipment in accordance with the requirements of the European Pressure Equipment Directive (PED 2014/68/EU)
- Qualification and certification of welders and operators as an independent third party according to EN standards, ISO standards, and PED requirements
- Qualification of welding procedures (PQR) as an independent third party according to EN standards, ISO standards, and PED requirements
- General third-party inspection services in oil refineries
- Third-party inspection and testing of aboveground storage tanks according to API 653 requirements
- Third-party inspection of storage tank construction according to API 650 requirements
- Third-party inspection and testing of static equipment in refineries, including pressure vessels, heat exchangers, columns, evaporators, reactors, and related equipment
- Third-party inspection and testing of various types of steam boilers
- Supervision of piping installation works in refineries
- Technical consulting regarding repair of refinery equipment
- Inspection services for LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) facilities during manufacturing and construction, including storage tanks, piping systems, and associated equipment
As stated above, this is only a partial list of the third-party inspection activities we perform in Israel as representatives of an independent European Notified Body. We remain available to coordinate with Moody S.A. regarding any additional inspection activities required in Israel.
If inspection activities are required in countries outside Israel, we are also able to provide such services in coordination with Moody S.A.
