Welder Certification

A welder is regarded as a skilled professional specializing in joining materials together through welding processes. Welders are required to possess technical skill, fine motor ability, and close attention to detail, all of which are essential parts of the welding operation. Welders are also expected to have technical knowledge regarding both the base materials intended for welding and the applicable welding processes and work procedures.

Poor-quality or non-professional welding may lead to structural failure, endanger human life, and cause severe property damage. The consequences may include criminal liability, civil lawsuits, high non-quality costs, project delays, damage to reputation and professional standing, and the loss of potential business opportunities.

Welder Qualifications and Certification

There is a clear safety obligation to assess the welder’s knowledge and capability to perform welding in accordance with applicable standards. Such examinations must be conducted only under the supervision of a certified welding inspector with extensive knowledge, skill, and experience.

Avvix Engineering Services conducts welder qualification tests and certifications through certified, experienced, and highly skilled welding inspectors.
